Creative Critical Reflection #4

Throughout the production, my partner and I used many new technologies that we hadn't used before. The main software the we used to edit our movie together was the Adobe Premier Pro Video Editor. This software is used to edit clips together into a film, it offers many different extras, like how to cut to the next clip in the movie and sound affects, all of which we utilized in the production of the film. The sound section of the Adobe Premier Pro Video Editor allowed us to adjust the sound volume of the clip as well as the ambient music we put in the film. The sound affects we had to get from non-copy write sources. We used th effects section to create transitions from clip to clip with our sounds. The effects section was also used to fade and fade our our opening credits, making it look more professional. The editing software was also used to take the sound from clips we filmed and created them as just sound clips. We had to make multiple layers in order to create authenticity. The Adobe Premier Pro Video Editor was overall used to create an authentic film with limited resources.
We also used a tripod and Canon camera to film our project. I had never used such an expensive camera before so I was really happy with all of the crisp shots we got. The tripod allowed us to create still shots and pan shots with ease. Most of our shots were hand held, but to create variety we used the tripod.
