He decides to follow this mysterious voice and ends up in a forest. The demonic monster eats him. Then the film transitions to a high school where we are focused on a girl hanging up a missing person's poster of the little boy. The place where she hangs up the poster is completely filled with missing people. It turns out the she is actually the demonic being.

       For smaller films, a studio might introduce it slowly to audiences, maybe enter it in film festivals and into speciality theaters. The studios will track the attendance rates and decide whether or not they need to expand. If it were a larger franchise or big movie, a studio will want to release it into between 3-4 thousand theaters opening weekend so they can make the most profit the average three weekend profit margin. The studios will share the profits with the theaters.         With my product, Chloe and I thought it would be best if we submit our film into small film festivals. For non-big budget movies or small films, film festivals are a smart and beneficial way to get the audiences to watch and spread the word about it.        There was also the idea of an interactive website. The horror movie "Carrie" created a website that people could go to and get Carrie's number. She would "call" them at random times and say creepy things or update

       Throughout the duration of this project, I was introduced to new themes and technologies that I integrated into my project. Until now, I have never filmed a movie or used editing software and I never would have thought that so much planning and strategies went into filming and marketing a film.        My production skills developed tremendously while filming my project. While filming, my partner and I would have a scene already planned, but then we would think of something bigger and better that we could do. To make a great film, sometimes the director has to improvise!        After our first film was shot and edited, my partner and I though it was a really great production. We worked hard on it and had to present it to the class. Audience feedback is extremely important when it comes to producing a film, if the audience doesn't like it, the film won't succeed.   Throughout the production, my partner and I used many new technologies that we hadn't used before. The main software the we used to edit our movie together was the Adobe Premier Pro Video Editor. This software is used to edit clips together into a film, it offers many different extras, like how to cut to the next clip in the movie and sound affects, all of which we utilized in the production of the film. The sound section of the Adobe Premier Pro Video Editor allowed us to adjust the sound volume of the clip as well as the ambient music we put in the film. The sound affects we had to get from non-copy write sources. We used th effects section to create transitions from clip to clip with our sounds. The effects section was also used to fade and fade our our opening credits, making it look more professional. The editing software was also used to take the sound from clips we filmed and created them as just sound clips. We had to make multiple layers in order to create authenticity.

       With our short film we really utilized the classic horror conventions usually seen in the most popular and iconic Horror films. My partner and I used ominous music to create suspense and tension to overall cause the viewer to feel anxious as they watch the film, wondering what going to happen.        We used a young boy as our main character because typically young boys tend be more adventurous and curious when facing something that is unknown or interesting. We used a young child because when a person sees a young child, they see purity and innocence, which is why when something horrific happens to that said child, it scares the viewer.        We also created a demonic being to be in the movie because is a classic theme among people, the fear of the unknown. Some of the most successful horror movies in the industry have monsters, demons, and ultimately things that humans can't explain or fathom.
